Description:
Elegant and sophisticated leather top french marquetry bureau / plat constructed of tulipwood and satinwood with the inlay running in opposing directions to the drawer fronts and horizontally on the legs. The writing surface is set in green leather and the top is trimmed in a brass rail inset along the edge. the desk has two drawers each having ormolu escutcheons with ormolu mounts to the ends above four nicely tapered and decorated legs ending in brass feet. Measuring 45" wide by 22" deep by 30" high. Circa 1825. Your complete satisfaction is our goal. If you are not happy with an item purchased, return it in it's original condition for a refund.
