Description: French Henri II Style Buffet H=39 1/8, L=91 1/8, Base Depth=23 5/8, Top Depth=22 1/2 European Oak—Parquet Top – Iron Hardware -Very Good Condition – minor separation of wood to top - C. 1930 – 3 Original Keys This magnificent Henri II style buffet, made from European Oak has a parquet top and two center drawers over a double door opening. There are two side cabinets with open space below for accessory display. At the front outer corner of each open space is a decorated bulbous pedestal supporting the cabinets. A projecting cornice molding rests upon four front bun feet. At the back are two side bun feet. The ornamentation is rich with c-scrolls, volutes, scrolling acanthus leaves, coats of arms and more.
