Description: Large Empire-style French desk in walnut dating from the late 19th century, i.e., Napoleon III period. French polished finish. Each side has an extending leaf that pulls out 16 inches. Top comes in a rich, dark leather with a Greek key-chain pattern along the edge. Slight imperfections and dimples in leather, but no major damage that takes away from appeal of this antique. Gilt bronze key holes and mountings on legs.
