Description: The intricacy of the white beadwork in this French purse is interspersed with multiple color embroidered flowers - the total presentation is beautiful and very impressive. The hinged opening is also beaded with an oval European motif painted clasp. The purse measures 8" x 6 1/2" with a 24" braided chain. The interior of the purse is ivory satin with "Made in France" printed on an inside pocket. The only flaw notable is to the inside fabric where there is a dark stain as if something leaked. This is thought to be from the early to mid 20th c.
