Description: Very pretty French Directoire period gilt-bronze mantel clock, circa 1795, the case formed as a fountain with a Classical female figure gazing at her broken vessel in the waters below. The stream of water, the broken pitcher and the figure's arm are all articulated to move as the clock ticks. In good working order with pendulum and key.
Height: 10 in. Width/Length: 8 in. Depth: 3 in.
