Description:
Dimensions: 39 3/16 inches high, 45.25 inches wide and 17.75
inches deep.
A wonderful walnut server with wooden top that opens to reveal
a marble. These pieces were originally used in dinning rooms
and were opened when food was served, allowing the hot dishes
to be placed on the marble. Today these pieces can still be used
in the dinning room, or can be used in a multitude of other
locations. This particular server is simple yet has an undeniable
elegance in its simplicity. The fluted columns in the front along
with elegant and stylish drawers and hardware gives this piece
an architectural appearance suitable to many interiors.
Condition: This piece is an antique and has the usual wear
associated with its age and usage. It has dents, nicks, scratches,
chips, splits and mars consistent with usage. Some chipping to
edges of marble in line with usage. Small piece from interior
latch broken.
