Description: This is a stunning 19th Century French Bracket clock in a black laquered case. The clock has a beautifully engraved brass dial with roman numerals signed by the maker BENNETT a PARIS. The movement of the clock is also signed BENNETT a PARIS. The clock has glass side panels and also a glass circular backplate so the movement can be seen from the sides and behind. The clock strikes on the half hour and strikes the hour on a bell. The movement of this clock has been completely overhauled by a master clockmaker and carries a 1 year guarantee. It comes complete with the original key. The clock was made ca 1860.
