From the early years of the Lenzkirch factory where parts were produced for clock makers, this rare French Ormolu three peice set consists of a center clock having angel figures on sides, covered urn top and ribbon below. A nice blue porcelain case having a beveled bezel, two key hole dial in wonderful condtion. The brass clock movement marked "Lenzkirch A. G. U." with serial number "41 932349" dating it to the later Lenkirch movements. The two matching five branch candelabra garnitures have similar blue porcelain style posts with flower mask and ribbon mounts. The Lenzkirch clock factory was started in 1849 by Eduard Hauser as a small Black Forest workshop. The serial number of the works dates this clock to the later days of the Lenzkirch factory - probably 1900. Pendulum present, no key. Unknown working order.
