French Art Deco platinum engagement ring

  Diamonds: Six single brilliant cut diamonds (also called 8/8) with a total estimated weight of approx. 0.06 crt. Note: All diamond weights, color grades and clarity are approximate since the stones were not removed from their mounts to preserve the integrity of the setting.
  Precious stones: One beautiful light blue Ceylon sapphire (from Sri Lanka) with an approximate weight of 4.20 crt.
  Birthstones: Sapphire is the birthstone (or month stone) for September and diamond for April.
  Hallmarks: : French hallmark "the mascaron" used since 1927.
  Weight: 4.30 gram (2.76 dwt).

     An engagement ring is a finger ring of no generally accepted form that is given by a man to his fiancée as a token of marriage engagement, in the manner of the earlier betrothal ring, and indistinguishable in form or style.
