Description: This is a Frederick Post slide rule in a leather case in very good condition. Post slide rules were first made by various German manufacturers until 1932 when Post started using slide rules made by Hemmi Keisanjuku, a Japanese company. Hemmi slide rules are made of bamboo and are always labeled with the Hemmi name. Hemmi started dating their slide rules in 1951. This one has HH on the side which means it was made in August of 1957. Slide rules under the name of Post ended in the mid-‘70’s. Please note: I include postage, insurance and delivery confirmation in the final cost of the item.
