Marvin (1906 -?) wrote many books on terriers. He was a licensed Terrier judge. He received many honors including Writer of the Year by the Gaines Comapny; Outstanding Dog Journalist of the Year by Kennel Review; Governors Award of Merit by the Wire Fox Terrier Club, Hall of Fame Award by Fox Terrier Club of Central States. He also wrote the first 10 chapters of the American Kennel Club Source Book (a history of the first 100 years of the A.K.C.). This book is his study of the fox terrier. Profusely illustrated with black-and-white photographs.
