Description: Four-Light Brass Chandelier converted from a gas chandelier to electric. Probably French. Very good condition with all original gas keys and canopy. Even retains some original gilding on highly detailed decorative leaf appliques and gas keys. Dripping wax-covered candle covers support chandelier-base bulbs. Overall height may be reduced if desired by shortening the brass tube between ball and canopy. One of the prettiest ones I've seen. Avoids the heavy, overblown look of some of these converted gasoliers.
