Description:
This TABLE CHARMS set is in the most desirable color made by Fostoria. It was only made from 1959-1960. This color, in the TABLE CHARMS set, was made for even a shorter period of time than the HEIRLOOM pattern in yellow opalescent (1959-1962). Fostoria advertised that this piece could be mixed and matched and assembled in a ariety of ways, including this format of one peg vase and 3 Flora candle/snack bowls, or one Flora bowl and three peg vasees, or even just three of either, with a single candle in the middle of the trindle stand. The trindle stand was only made in crystal, so this set is exactly as it should be! It is even possible to make a double stack, using 2 trindles, 3 cups and 4 peg vases! Yes, this piece glows under a blacklight, due to the uranium content. See also LOT 7194 for another configuration that can be made from the various components, or buy both sets and make a double!
