Description: This is a beautiful set of 4 sherbets made by the Fostoria Glass Company of Moundsville, WVA. in the American pattern. The pattern was made from 1916 until 1986 when the new company of Lancaster Colony Corporation took over. The company was in busines in Fostoria, OH from 1887 to 1891 when they moved to West Virginia. Each sherbet measures 3" tall to the top and is 4-1/4" in diameter at the rim. The foot is 2-1/2" in diameter. These sherbets or saucer champaignes are in excellent condition with no chips, flakes or cracks but they do have dishwasher streaks on them.
