Stylized Anthropomorphic Folk Art Carved Teak Wood Parrot from one Solid Piece of Wood. The features are distorted from that of any Parrot I have ever seen. The wings are short and the legs long and thick more like humans. 12" high and 4" wide this fun carving has lovey figural wood grain that compliments the contours of the bird. It has simple nails for eyes. The condition is good but as a hand crafted folk art items there are some natural imperfections. Here and there are bore holes left over from insect activity when the tree was alive. On the base in the front is a small nick that is insignificant. He or she would benefit greatly from some wood oil to bring out the luster of the teak hardwood.
