Description: Offering this beautiful larger size fold out valentine, circa 1910-20's; decorative cutout flap with the words To My Valentine, folds out to show a red honeycomb rosette, and three layer decoration - first layer is a colorful rose trellis surrounding a young man in a white sailor suit with bouquets of forget me nots; second layer is a tall bouquet of forget me nots and daisies, the third layer is a large scrolled trellis trimmed in gold, covered wtih textured pink flowers and red hearts with two white doves. Measures 6 x 4 inches, very good condition, no holes, tears, or stains (except for two small faint marks on front flap, neatly signed on back and marked printed in Germany. Light age toning on back side. The artwork on this one is just wonderful, all the delicate cutouts and the colors are so bright. A beautiful addition to your collection or a wonderful vintage valentine gift!
