Description: Offering this lovely fold out valentine, circa 1910-20's; decorative cutout flap with the words Loving Thoughts, folds out to show a red honeycomb rosette, and three layer decoration - first layer is a colorful country fence with red and pink flowers; second layer is an adorable little cherub with a basket of hearts, the third layer is a large blue and red heart with white dove. Measures 5 1/2 x 4 inches, good condition, no holes, tears, or stains (except for 4 small spots on edge of background heart where someone had taped them at one time, neatly signed on back; marked printed in Germany on front flap. Light age toning on back side. The artwork on this one is just wonderful, all the delicate cutouts and the colors are so bright. A beautiful addition to your collection or a wonderful vintage valentine gift!
