Description:
PRICE WILL BE REDUCED 30% AT TIME OF PURCHASE TO $87.50!! A Blanc de chine porcelian lamp modeled as a fish breaking the surface, 15 1/2" tall with wood stand. The reteculated body allows the light to show through. The fish is signed: Wai Ming H.K., the HK stands for Hong Kong. Condition is very good the porcelian is free of chips or cracks. The electric part of the lamp, as you can see is just an extention cord with a plug-in socket with a low wattage bulb. The plug has been cut off but included. The fish is very dusty in the the reticulated openings but it will make a very nice lamp with the right attention. It could to be rewired, the wood stand is intact, although as you can see in the photo, it is missing the wood ring that would go around the legs but the stand is sound without it. The whole piece is very interesting and very decorative. (3)
