Description: Fish Diorama Something exciting going on here! A wonderful early 20th century fish diorama, signed E.S.Cheatham 1938.The diorama is housed in a nice walnut frame with the original surface patina and color, the interior is an oil painted lake scene 3 very large small mouth bass are mounted in a very dimensional setting in the center, then there are 8 little tiny fish swimming with the small mouth bass, I’m not sure what kind of fish they are they look like smelt. The over all scene is quite dramatic if you’re a fishermen or you’ve got a great room this is a wonderful early 20th century fish specimen. these are not very common and this one is in excellent condition and again the entire back of the scene is oil painted the colors are really spectacular and this is just as life like as can be, Measures 42 5/8” wide X 27 7/8” high.BLUE DOLPHIN FINE ANTIQUES
