Description: Beautifully engraved certificate from the First Charter Financial Corporation issued no later than 1979. This historic document was printed by the Jeffries Banknote Company and has an ornate border around it with a vignette of a woman with a covered wagon. This item has the printed signatures of the Company’s Chairman and Secretary and is over 24 years old.
Certificate Vignette In 1983, First Charter was acquired by Financial Corporation of America. In September 1988, Financial Corporation of America went bankrupt with total assets of $33,864,000,000.
