Description: A great fireplace fender, elaborate & classical. Dating from the 19the Century. Made of heavy solid brass with the applied casted garland swags in gold gilt brass. Study the photos carefully , the more you look the more you see! This fender has so much going on & is exciting from every angle. I am very impressed with the superb quality ,The surface patina is rich & mellow , it has a bit of green oxidation going on,& that can be polished if you like it bright & shiny , that’s always just a matter of personal preference. Measuring 56� Long x 15� High including finials x14 ½� Deep.
