Description: Here is a rare find! A Fire King range set from the 1950's in it's original box. This pattern is known as "Modern Tulips" and is black and red on white glass. The set includes the grease jar with lid, and a pair of salt and pepper shakers with their correct lithographed scripted black (P) and (S) lids. The set has been gently used with some minimal wear to the paint on the lids. The under sides of the lids are much better then you see normally with a little corrosion on the salt, (see Pictures). The glass is chip free and the tulips are crisp showing no wear. The box is a bit tattered after 50 plus years with one top flap separated and some tape down one corner. Great set for your collection!
