It is the 3rd edition, 16 chapters, Lions, Lepoards, Bears, Foxes, Horses, elephants, Hippos, Camels, cattle, sheep, antelopes, deer, Hares, weasels, boars, rats. It covers more than this, is heavily illustrated. It shows pictures of a tiger attacking a man, wild life eating other animals & general pictures of animals. Gives children warning to not torture insects & animals & is written as it would read today!! No date, but would guess 1880-90 era. Book inside covers are heavily discolored, book pages are loose in places, but inside pages are very nice for age. Still I would not rate this as good condition, fair.. 7 x 8 1/2" . It has 192 pages
