Description: A Charleton Violets decorated and artist signed Silvercrest low bowl. Made by Fenton and decorated by Abels, Wasserberg & Company under their Charleton label. The bowl has lost its paper label, but is signed by the artist Richard D. This company decorated for many glass companies starting during WWII and continued until the 1970s. It was famous for its delicate and painstaking work in hand decorating these glass items. The Fenton Silver Crest bowl is 6.5" in diameter and 2" tall. In excellent condition.
