The clock has a porcelain dial with gorgeous handmade steel hands.The style of the clock is Louis Phillippe or Beidermeier and the age is about 1890.We were lucky to acquire this clock from a lovely Private estate in the South of France near Cannes!This real beautiful museumpiece of an absolutely rare two weights wall clock is in complete original and excellent condition.The clock contains a 8 days movement. It is weight driven by two brass cylindrical shaped weights.The clock strikes every 30 minutes on an old spring gong .On the full hours it strikes the hours.The clock has also a seconds hand what is very unusual.The bronze clock work is signed on the back plate with:" 138164" and is probably made by Victor Kullberg the famous Swedish clock maker.The dimensions are: Height: 49 Inches,Width: 14 Inches and Depth: 7 Inches.If you have an eye for an unique piece that will give your home that one of a kind look,this is it !
