Description: These gorgeous brass sconces date to the 1920's, and display the original polychrome finish. With an oval back plate supporting an ornately cast and painted arm, these sconces are lovely and understated. The arm scoops down to support a simple bobeche, which displays foliate garland. The base below the bobeche features an adorable floret. These are in excellent condition, have been professionally rewired, and they come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. They are 9 ½” long, 3 7/8” wide and protrude 5” from the wall. (the “holes” at the top and bottom of the back plate accept the mounting bracket and are filled with pebble-style sconce buttons; these buttons would not hold their place during image making. However, once hung on the wall, the “holes” are completely covered.)
