Description:
This pair of early 1900’s two-tone, bronze with silver plating, polychrome finished sconces are beautiful. With a textured shield-style back plate, which finishes with a stylized fleur-de-lis finial and a cut-out medallion-style top portion, these sconces are quite interesting show pieces. Extending from the ornate back plates, one finds a octagonal, S-curved arm sprouting up to meet a cut-out style bobeche. The bobeches display alternating fleur-de-lis adornments. These wall lamps are in excellent condition, and they have been professionally rewired and come with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. They are 9 ½” long, 4 ¼” wide and protrude 7 ¼” from the wall.
