Description: Fantastic 14K solid yellow gold European Victorian Pearl brooch with remarkable craftsmanship. Finely done graduated bead work, and scalloped wire work, with a prong set 3mm half-pearl center. Measures just over 1" in diameter, extremely well made with a nice solid and sturdy feel to it. Weighs 3.6 grams. Marked on the back "585" (the European hallmark for 14K solid gold) as well as maker marked (jewelers hammer shaped hallmark). With simple "C" clasp, elongated pin stem, and tube hinge. In near-mint condition, looks as if never worn. Circa 1900. $6.95 US ship/insure.
