Description: This enthralling chandelier begins with a gadrooned canopy, which via antique chain unites with a scrolling loop finial featuring florets. The body of this piece is constructed of five iron bands, which fan out around the base of the upper finial and are attached with five floret buttons. The bands continue on, bending to create the frame of this piece, which encircle a center dangling finial, and are button using identical florets for a second time at the base of this chandelier. The bands find a finial curve just under the second set of floret buttons and branch out to meet highly embellished bobeches of acanthus leaves. The focal point of this chandelier comes in the form of five medallions centered between each of the iron bands, which showcase faux- hammered textures, florets and a center urn-shaped shield. This chandelier as well as each bobeche displays a palmette finial. This chandelier is in excellent condition, it has been professionally rewired, and it comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. This chandelier is 19” at its widest; the length of the chandelier only is 20”; the total length is 38 ½.”
