Description: A most unusual and quite striking reticulated gilded brass counter bell encrusted with colourful cut crystal "stones". Probably French or Austrian in origin, it dates to around 1880, late Victorian. The bell has an unusual mechanism, where the knob on top is twisted like winding a watch, works wonderfully. Remaining in excellent condition with only one chip to one of the smaller stones as seen in the last photograph. Measuring 4 1/4" tall with the larger stones having a diameter of 1" - a stunning piece! Shipping and insurance are included.
