Description:
A truly exquisite Brazilian green beetle scarab
bracelet. It is fashioned in 18 kt. yellow gold
with 14 green scarabs and 1 tiny pearl. There
are 4 scarabs on either side of a gold and
scarab flower with one pearl in the center
flower. Insect jewelry was very popular in the
latter half of the 19th C. One beetle in the
center flower has been replaced but you can
only tell from the back side. It is a perfect
match from the top. This lovely and unique
bracelet is in wonderful condition, especially
for its age!
