Description:
A real gem which is hard to photograph at it's best with the really stunning engraving all around the body of the glass and even onto the shoulders. The intricate decoration was really executed extremely well to create this work of art.
Being such a large bottle, it is really more of and eau de toilette or cologne bottle and would lend itself to containing bath oil similar for a very well appointed bathroom.
The crystal is line cut to the bottom portion of each side and star cut on the underside. The original stopper remains in fine form with an engraved decoration too.
The collar is silver with a couple of marks hard to read or identify.
Pretty as a picture, dating to around 1890 / 1900, and remaining in superb condition, measuring 6 1/2" tall with a base measuring 2 1/2" x 2 1/2".
