Description: Antique Chinese Export Black Shawl Embroidered on black silk crepe ground. The design is magnificent; the quality of the hand embroidery is superb. There is only very minor wear to the embroidery in places and a tiny area of fringe which needs mending. The border of the body of the shawl is covered with a garden of flowers and grapes in beautiful shades of melon, greens, purple, reds, and white.
