Description: TAKE A MOMENT TO STAND BACK AND ABSORB THE BEAUTY OF THIS IMPRESSIVE TWO WEIGHTS WALL CLOCK!We were lucky to acquire it from a high end private estate in Germany near Munich! .Made of the most gorgeous OAK and decorated with marvelous bronze ornaments like the horns of plenty on top.Believe me this incredible wall clock is a wonderful rare find!The wall clock dates from the last quarter of the 19th C. (c. 1890).The porcelain dial with in the middle a brass plate is beautiful with fabulous hand made steel hands.The clock has a 8 days work,driving by two weights, and is in fine working order.The chime is on an old gong and strikes every half and full hour.As you can see on the pictures the gorgeous oak case has such a rich and warm patina!!The 8 days bronze movement is stamped on the back plate with the logo of the Resch Clock Factory and the numerals "86881" with the words "Remember".The Resch clock factory was founded in 1861 in Ebensee-Austria and was very famous at that time.The two weights and the pendulum are fantastic engraved.This real beautiful and absolutely rare wall clock is in complete original and excellent condition.No matter where you hang this clock everyone will be begging to know where you got such an outstanding clock and where they can get one like it!
