The clock case is made of the finest burr walnut and is decorated with fine bronze ornaments . The clockwork is an eight days movement and is in fine working order.The chime is on an old spring gong and strikes every half and full hour.This real beautiful and absolutely rare freeswinger clock is in complete original and excellent condition.The 8 days bronze movement is stamped on the back plate with the numerals "195489" and is probably made by Jacob Kienzle.The Kienzle Clock Factory was founded 1822 in Schwenningen-Germany.The age of the clock is about 1890.We were lucky to acquire it from a lovely Private estate in the South of Germany near Munich! As you can see on the pictures the gorgeous burr walnut case has such a rich and warm patina!The brass pedulum is engraved with a beautiful swan and looks fantastic! The porcelain dial with the brass plate in the middle and the steel hands are gorgeous.
