Description: An exceptional 6 bore double barrel percussion fowling gun by Henry Holland of 98 New Bond St, London. Dating from around 1860 the gun has 33.5 Inch Damascus barrels inscribed, “H. Holland, 98 New Bond Street London” on the top rim. The locks are signed, “Holland” and have high quality foliate engraving as do the barrel tang, trigger guard and butt plate. The stock is finely chequered and figured and made from the best quality burr walnut. A superb gun by one of England’s best makers.
