Description:
Everything About Dogs, edited and compiled by Al. G. Eberhart, Thirty-Five Years a Dog Fancier. Published by The Eberhart Kennels, Camp Dennison, Ohio. 1902. Second Edition ,(it may be that he called it the Second Edition, but there was no First). "Treating and caring for dogs.....teaching dogs good habits and correcting bad ones. Advice..as to the dog's welfare....also many VALUABLE PRESCRIPTIONS now made public for the first time. Taking proper care of a dog from its birth - through life - till it dies from old age - and is buried in the yard." An interesting work, though the best part may be the 47 pages of advertisements by kennels, breeders, boarding kennels, etc. Wonderful examples in photos of old breeds - such as Maltese,Pugs, Collies, Bull Dogs, Fox Terriers, Pomeranian, French Bull Dogs, etc., etc. The covers of the book are slightly bumped. Some pages are creased at the bottom corner. Basically, bound tightly and in Very Good condition for a book over 100 years old.
