Description:
A fine and rare pair of 19th Century Etruscan 14 karat gold and Persian turquoise bangle bracelets, circa 1880. The top of each bracelet is decorated with a with an applied repeating wave and beaded band framing a row of block and rosette appliques. The blocks are set with cabochon turquoise. Each bracelet is engraved with the inscription, " Eleanor from Charles and Juliet ". Condition is very good with some minor wear on the backs which are consistent with age and natural use. One has a minor pin head ding on the interior surface and the other with a very minor short crease ding in the same area. Dimensions: Length 2 1/2", Width 2".Weight 77 grams.
