A lovely solid sterling silver napkin ring by Walker & Hall. It is rare to fond them stamped with the maker of such a renowned silversmith! The hallmarks dates it to Chester 1906. It is very thick, solid silver - one of the heaviest napkin rings that we have in our collection. It features a engraved ivy & bird design with an almost oriental geometric design as well. Napkin rings are very collectible and have enjoyed a recent revival due to the growing "green" trend, many people have resurrected the tradition of cloth napkins at the table - instead of using and disposing of paper napkins. Individual napkin rings are then placed at each place setting so that you know which is your napkin to reuse at the next meal. Pairs, sets of 4 & 6 are also available. Makes a great gift!
