Description: This is a neat tea tin or biscuit barrel of tin with a red to orange marble base covered with a gold floral chintz overlay and vignettes of floral. The lid has a gold ball knob finial. The tea tin or biscuit jar was made in England in the 1970s for Daher, New York and measures 6 inches high by 5.5 inches in daimeter. The tin is in very good +++ condition with 1 tiny scratche, the tiniest dent on the very tip of the ball finial and one tiny area of corrosion on the lid rim. There is also an old piece of cello tape where the lid was originally taped down. A wonderfully decorative way to store your Ty-Phoo tea or Jaffa cakes.
