Description: This English-made sterling silver souvenir spoon dates to about 1903 as it bears the Lion Passant, London mark and the small letter h signifying 1903. The main feature is the English Royal Crest. Since Edward VII was crowned in 1902, national pride was running high and this spoon probably made a great tourist item at the time. It was created by Cornelius Saunders and Frank Shepherd of London in 1903 and hallmarked to reflect them as makers. This spoon is simply beautiful.
