Description: English Porcelain Gilt & Floral Footed Compote, Late 19th C. The compote features a scalloped rim and basketweave decoration with hand-painted floral sprays and gilt accents throughout surface and along foot. The base is marked "No. 5203 x" in red on the base. Dimensions: 2.25in. High, 9.125in. Wide. Weight: 1lb 6oz. Condition: There is slight wear to the gilt enamel throughout the face of the compote and along the foot. There are very few minor glaze imperfections and a number of small light scratches throughout the surface. Otherwise, the piece is in good condition.
