Description:
This exquisite bachelor's chest is the product of a full restoration of an English Military piece, dating back to just after the second world war, most likely about 1970. It has been re-made with stunning yew wood oyster inlays and brass hardware. Upon first sight, it is clear that this chest is a fine exhibition of quality. This bachelor's chest has five drawers: two small and three large. Each boasts elegant antiqued brass swan neck handles and dovetailed joints. A convenient brush slide pulls out for quick and easy space for placing items, etc., and features inlaid green leather with gold tooling. Shaped bracket feet provide sturdy support so there is no need to worry about stability. As this chest has been recently restored, condition is excellent so this classic Georgian-style piece would make a fine addition to any home!
