Circa: 1950 Dimensions: 12 " wide x 7" deep x 27" high Stock Number: E0509-0381 This is a lovely, English Bracket Clock. We purchased it in London, England. It is in good condition. The case is Mahogany with a Medium Mahogany Patina. It is tall and elegant with a traditional Portico Design. Four Tall Fluted Columns support the Pediment. The Columns have intricate Ormolu Caps at the top and bottom. The Pediment is quite ornate with multi-tiers of molding, including one in a Dentil Design. A Pattern of Scroll Work and Garland flows across the Deep Frieze at the front of the Pediment. The Dial is suspended just below the Pediment. It is framed by a gorgeous Brass Scroll Work Ring. The Dial is porcelain with a hand painted, Floral Embellishment. The numerals are Roman. The Hands are black. There are two Winding Holes, one for the Clock Movement and one for the Bell which strikes the hour. The Pendulum is very beautiful. It is made in Lyre Design with a gorgeous Rosette at the center of the Bob. The Clock has a Fluted Plinth Base. It is embellished with a Floral and Foliate Scroll Mouldng. The Clock comes with a Key.
