Description: A beautiful English blue transferware tureen or punch bowl service, ca. 1850-1880. The set consists of a tureen with slotted cover, ladle, and understand. The pattern on the set is a floral and scroll design in blue on an ivory background. The tureen has open loop handles. The tureen is 9 inches in diameter and stands 10 3/4 inches tall at the finial. The ladle is 14 1/4 inches long and the understand is 12 inches in diameter. There are no marks on the piece, but it is decidedly of English manufacture. Shipping quoted upon sale.
