Description: Circa: 1930 Stock Number:E1208-0303 This is a splendid English Art Deco Bookcase Cocktail Cabinet. It is made of Yew with a glorious display of it's beautiful grain. It has a Golden Medium Yew Patina. The piece is in very good condition. The Pediment is pronounced. It has a sophisticated design with Two Open Shelves at the top. The Front of the Shelves and the Facades of the Horizontal Stiles below are carved with Reeding. Just below the large, open Shelves is a Fall Front Door. The Drawer is embellished with a beautiful Parquetry Pattern of Yew creating a Center Panel Design with scalloping corners. The Fall Front Door opens to reveal a gorgeous, beautifully fitted, Cocktail Cabinet. The Cocktail Cabinet is compartmentalized with Two Scalloping Shelves on the left and a large, Open Cocktail Area on the right. The back of this Compartment is mirrored. A Glass Shelf flows across the center. You may store your stemware and bar ware here. The Drink Mixing Surface is mirrored. There are Two Drawers below. The one on the right opens to reveal a compartmentalized interior, perfect for organizing your Wine Bottle Openers and other bar utensils. Both Drawers are lined with green felt. There are Two Long Doors below. They too have a beautiful, Parquetry Pattern of Mahogany. They open to reveal a roomy interior with a Shelf flowing across the back. The Cocktail Cabinet has a Plinth Base. The Hardware is all original. This includes the Lock, Skeleton Key, and intricately formed Floral Back Plates and Ring Pulls.
