Description: This gorgeous walnut bachelors chest was English-made around 1970 for the RAF and restored in 1996 by a traditional cabinetmaker. The burl walnut veneers, which were added in the restoration, show a lustrous complexion and a distinct grain, while the brass swan neck pulls, also part of the restoration, contrast beautifully with the wood. A standard two-over-three drawer design offers plenty of storage space, and each drawer features dovetailed joints; the three bottom drawers contain central supports to bolster them against weight. Finally, because this chest was recently restored, it remains in excellent overall condition.
