Description:
This stunning triple break front bookcase is a newly crafted reproduction of a Victorian-Period antique. As such, it has been handmade by a third-generation cabinetmaker, who always uses only the finest techniques and materials available. The result is a stunning bookcase with a remarkably rich mahogany complexion and grain. The wood itself was treated to an elaborate finishing process that ended in a hand-rubbed coat of wax, which not only makes the mahogany beautiful, but also durable against use. Of course, the striking appearance of the bookcase owes in large part to the elegant break front design. The strong plinth base keeps the bookcase steady, while the alligator bracket shelving means that all shelves are fully adjustable. This bookcase disassembles into the three sections (which is how it will arrive when shipped), all of which secure to one another with screws.
