Description:
This solid oak wardrobe was English-made around 1920 as Jacobean reproduction. Today, the oak remains as beautiful as ever, due in part to the development of a lovely patina, while the Jacobean style paneling and raised carvings also look quite striking. The single door opens by turning the teardrop pull and locks with the accompanying key, while six bun feet provide sturdy support. The interior of the wardrobe features a single felt-lined shelf atop a bar with adjustable hooks. Although this wardrobe has sustained superficial wear characteristic of a century-old antique, it does remain quite sturdy and remains quite beautiful. Overall, therefore, condition is very good.
