Description: A quite wonderful and unusual handled box made from papier or paper mache in stunning condition considering it's approximate 120 years of age, Victorian in period. There are two compartments, one side for nibs, stamps or other little desk accessories and the other side filled with a natural bristle nip or pen wipe, it looks unused. The lids have the most splendid hand painted fernware vignettes again in wonderful condition. Measures 4 1/4" x 3 1/8".
